Expert in Market Expansion, Retail Strategy, and Global Sourcing

For more than two decades, Ricky Fodor has worked at the intersection of strategy, execution, and leadership—helping global brands turn ambition into measurable growth. His career spans retail, wholesale, and consulting, leading international expansions, developing commercial frameworks, and building the partnerships that enable brands to thrive in new markets.

Ricky’s professional journey includes leadership roles with Apple, Vans, Rapha, and Café du Cycliste, where he honed his expertise in business development, retail operations, market research, and partner engagement. At Apple, he mastered the art of scalable retail excellence and cross-functional execution. At Vans, he strengthened his understanding of consumer segmentation and omnichannel growth. At Rapha, he led retail and wholesale expansion across North and South America—overseeing 9 clubhouses, 80 accounts, and $25M+ in revenue. Later, at Café du Cycliste, he designed the Americas market roadmap, balancing wholesale, retail, and DTC strategies to establish a sustainable commercial foundation.

Today, as the Founder of Nexa Global Consulting, Ricky brings this depth of experience to help companies enter new markets, build global partnerships, and grow sustainably. His expertise spans market research and competitive analysis, retail and wholesale strategy, sales enablement and partner development, strategic brand activation, and sourcing and manufacturing coordination. Based in Bentonville, Arkansas — Walmart’s global headquarters — he also leads Nexa’s Walmart Readiness & Category Development initiatives, guiding brands through compliance, category positioning, and vendor integration.

Ricky’s approach blends data-driven strategy with hands-on execution, connecting brands to trusted partners and helping them navigate complex retail ecosystems with precision. His work bridges continents, industries, and cultures — transforming global potential into real, sustainable results.
